WSC Annual Report 2024

Our Annual Report 2024 shares our direct support, policy change and worker power work from the year. We supported 697 people in relation to seasonal agricultural worker, and set out findings from cases and enquiries. We also share workers own priorities for change from our Worker Power programme. The report shows a marked increase in demand for our services, up 72% in 2024 compared to 2023, and an improvement in the resolutions we achieved for workers.

Key areas of concern for seasonal agricultural workers highlighted in the report include: restriction of worker’s movement; non-payment of wages; dismissals; health and safety hazards; unsafe living conditions; and poor treatment.  We also document specific concerns for women workers.
