Peer Engagement Officer (Agriculture)

- Location: The role is a remote working role with a hybrid combination of home-working, office work and travel for team, worker, policy and partnership meetings. The role will operate primarily in North-East Scotland with the main work areas being in and around Fife, Angus, Perth, and Dundee. WSC office is based at the WASPS Creative Exchange, Perth.
- Salary: £26,000-29,000

- Contract: Permanent (subject to funding)
This role focuses on supporting the rights of people who come to Scotland to work in seasonal agriculture. You will do this by being part of WSC’s peer engagement work, reaching out to workers, building relationships, and running sessions that help people understand their rights and build collective power.
You will help WSC deliver two of its key goals:
- supporting workers to have a real say in decisions that affect them
- building strong evidence about workers’ experiences to help drive policy change
You will work closely with the Peer Engagement Manager and Outreach Caseworker as part of this work.
