On Tuesday, 22 October a new article series was launched by WSC Director Caroline Robinson and the Open Democracy Beyond Trafficking and Slavery site focussed on the risks posed to workers on temporary migration programmes in a range of global contexts.
Follow along with the series here, which will include pieces from both Valeria Ragni, WSC Centre Manager and Margarita Permonaite, WSC Peer Engagement Officer. Current workers on the UK Seasonal Worker visa will also be writing for the series and we hope that these insights side by side with those from support organisations and academics in other global contexts will inform a more evidence based debate on how to tackle the inherent risks in temporary migration programmes.
